1. Operator

This website is operated by Kalukan Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using SkyHeinz, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

SkyHeinz is a crowdsourcing platform that displays AI-generated transcriptions of publicly broadcast Air Traffic Control (ATC) radio communications from Singapore Changi Airport. Registered users can confirm or correct these transcriptions to help build a training dataset for aviation speech recognition research.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use SkyHeinz. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide a valid email address during registration.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate points or the leaderboard is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Contributions

  • By submitting confirmations or corrections, you grant Kalukan Pte Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use your contributions for research, training datasets, and model development.
  • Contributions must be made in good faith. Submitting intentionally incorrect data, spamming, or attempting to game the points system may result in account suspension and disqualification from prizes.
  • We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove contributions at our discretion.

6. Points and Prizes

  • Points are awarded for contributions as described on the platform. Point values may be adjusted at any time.
  • Prizes are awarded to the top contributors once 10,000 total contributions are reached.
  • Minimum 50 contributions required to qualify for prizes.
  • Prize distribution is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to verify contribution quality before awarding prizes.
  • Prizes may be subject to local tax obligations of the recipient.
  • We reserve the right to modify the prize structure, including prize types and qualification criteria, at any time.

7. ATC Audio Content

The ATC audio displayed on SkyHeinz originates from publicly available radio transmissions. These communications are provided for educational and research purposes only. The transcriptions are AI-generated and may contain errors. Do not use SkyHeinz transcriptions for operational aviation purposes or flight safety decisions.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the platform.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Submit false, misleading, or spam contributions.
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

The SkyHeinz platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Kalukan Pte Ltd. The AI models and pipeline technology are proprietary. Training datasets derived from user contributions may be released under an open-source licence for research purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SkyHeinz is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated transcriptions, uninterrupted service, or the security of your data. Use the platform at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalukan Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SkyHeinz, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of SkyHeinz after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
